FRAMING

An unusual, 15-step, handmade framing technique is used to create your one-of-a-kind Boston Red Sox souvenir. To begin with, the finest archival photographic paper, ink and matte board are used to produce each Fenway Park photograph.

Each print sits behind a beveled, 4-ply, white matte and is sandwiched between two pieces of glass. The front and back pieces of glass are then adhered together by a hand-soldering technique similar to that used in creating stained glass windows. The metal is then exposed to an acid bath, creating a simple, mottled, black, patina effect. And, after waxing, buffing and cleaning, your photo of Fenway Park is complete.

Your Fenway Park keepsake is perfect sitting on a bookshelf, desk or ledge, or hanging on a wall. A wire has been soldered to the back of your framed image for easy hanging. (See photos for a close up view of the framing.)

Please note that no two frames look exactly alike, and any noticeable imperfections help to create the desired mottled, patina effect and are considered normal.
